When my wife and I arrived in Merida in early 2010, we were like many visitors who come to the "White City" to admire the architecture. We were stunned by the beautiful buildings, the history, museums and all that the city had to offer. What we didn't expect was the friendly and helpful attitude of the people who live here. It wasn't long before we decided that we would be happy renovating one of the old homes in Centro. We were on a tight budget and wondered if we would be able to build a house we would be happy living in. After talking with several firms and reviewing some outstanding plans, we decided to go with Workshop Architects . We knew that this was a decision that would determine success or failure. We were nervous of cost overruns, inability to communicate, their inability to understand what we wanted to communicate, timelines and all that is crucial to a successful build. We had no reason to be concerned. We now consider ourselves lucky to have made such a wonderful choice. Fabian and Francisco and their construction team were the best! They are proficient, efficient, and fun to be around. No cost overruns, weekly updates, great ideas and excellent construction. We are so impressed with the work and friendship, we have submitted adoption papers! They wanted this project to be a success as much as we did...and it was. Thanks guys! Go build a city!

Workshop did such wonderful work on renovating my current house that I plan to have them build me a new home. I got far more than I expected and now I want to work with them to create my forever living space.
